Reflecting on her career start at age 18, Angela loves her profession but acknowledges there is one aspect she would alter if given another chance.Her main concern wasn’t about the job itself but rather how it influenced her personal life.

Specifically, Angela noted that she would handle discussions with her close ones differently ‘if I had to do it all over again’.She elaborated: “I think I was just excited and so adamant that this is what I wanted to do with my life that I just told people it’s what I was doing. There was no moment for comments, questions or concerns.”

Besides her career in adult entertainment, Angela completed an honors degree in gender studies in 2010.She chose to write her thesis on six female porn stars.

In her thesis, Angela discussed the oversimplified view of women in the industry, often labeled either as victims or as empowered figures, ignoring the nuanced reality.

“It’s always black or white — you’re the hapless victim, or you’re an empowered freedom fighter,” Angela remarked.”And it’s just like, the world isn’t like that. It’s a spectrum.”

She continued: “There are people like me where this is the perfect job for me. I feel empowered when I do it. I’m creating a career doing something that I love.”And then there are people that are just in the industry because you know they have a debt and they will pay that off.”

Angela also noted a positive change within the industry, especially with the rise of platforms like OnlyFans, which offer performers more autonomy over their content.
